We loved staying here; Angela & Armando were very hospitable and kind, and the room was amazing—super clean, comfortable, with a spacious balcony where we could watch birds. We definitely recommend the sloth tour and the free evening garden tour; Armando is an exceptional guide. Unfortunately we couldn’t see the volcano because it was cloudy, but that was beyond the hosts’ control.

Diese unglaublich komfortable und sympathische Unterkunft kann man nicht genug empfehlen. Man fühlt sich hier sofort rundum wohl und willkommen. Angela und Armando empfangen einen wie Freunde. Die gratis Tour (Hobby von Armando) durch den Wald, keine Minute vom benachbarten Hotel, dass der Bruder von Angela leidet und wo man gut frühstücken oder Abendessen kann, bietet Überraschendes! Man glaubt nicht, wie viele Tiere es in so unmittelbarer Nähe gibt! Die Lage ist nicht zu überbieten, da man das Gefühl hat, am Waldrand zu wohnen, gleichzeitig sind es keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Barista Cafés (gleich 2 um die Ecke) oder Restaurants. Ein Ort zum Wiederkommen, ¡muchísimas gracias!

Wonderful stay that exceeded my expectations. The hotel is situated on a small deadend street which was very quiet, but only a 2 block walk from town. Angela and Armando were charming and thoughtful hosts who made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. The room was clean and comfortable and the outdoor space spacious and comfortable even during the rainstorms. The evening walks with Armando to spot wildlife were incredible!

Staff were extremely helpful, the night walk through the forest lasted 25 minutes, the pool lets you spot wildlife, the room balcony offers an amazing view of the forest and the volcano, and it's close to downtown La Fortuna. Nothing to complain about.

The welcome was warm and the owner offered a cute nighttime frog tour; the room was modern and spotless.
