Breakfast was delicious—toasts with village bread, butter, homemade jam, or olive oil, plus fruit and yogurt if you wanted. The lodging sits in a tiny town just a few kilometers from Salamanca. A special shout‑out to Mari Carmen, who from the very first minute treats you like another family member—close, pleasant, and attentive. She offers homemade meals and dinners, adapting as much as possible to your preferences. In our case she served a local specialty (Farinato) for dinner that was tasty, and the dessert, fried ice cream, was equally good. Everything was excellent.
