Located in Bath's city centre, Eight is a short 1-minute walk from Bath Abbey and 400 metres from Bath Spa Train Station. The location is great, but the downside is the lack of parking; the nearby car park cost £35 for about 24 hours, which is outside the hotel’s control but worth noting if you plan to use public transport.

You can’t ask for a better spot in historic Bath; the deluxe room was comfy and roomy, overlooking Abbey Green and an ancient tree, and there were no complaints.

The property is beautiful, with lovely decor, spotless rooms, and a great location; the only issue is the thin walls typical of an older Victorian building, which didn’t deter me from staying.
