I loved the hotel enough to book two more nights. The water cooler on the floor supplies both hot and cold water. The score drops because this time I was assigned to the 4th floor 😭 and had to haul all my luggage up. None of the power outlets by the bed worked, and when I tried to use the laundry service, language barriers and the long turnaround time caused frustration.

The room was well laid out and just the right size for one person; I stayed on the second floor, so the stairs were a manageable climb. A great restaurant was right next door and a convenient supermarket sat at the corner. A bus stop was directly in front, yet I chose to take taxis everywhere. The only downside was the absence of an elevator.

The location was good, the room windows faced the courtyard, and it was quiet. The breakfasts were tasty. I could only take a decent shower, and the water was slightly warm. When I checked out, they told me I’d have to wait 10 minutes for the water to heat up. In short, ask for hot water immediately at check‑in. Also, expect a 15‑20 minute wait for breakfast items like porridge or omelets, so plan accordingly if you’re in a hurry in the morning.

Really nice rooms. The bed was comfy and had aircon. Was a great stay in Aktau
