Blue Tao Beach Hotel - SHA Plus

The location was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were very small, not clean enough, and the hotel was very expensive for what you get – you really don’t get good value for the price.

The place is right on the beach, a little noisy but not a big deal. I fell seriously ill with food poisoning, and the staff were exceptional. I couldn’t do much after being sick all night. They took me to the clinic and back, even repacked my luggage because I was too weak. They gave me a late checkout and woke me up when it was time to leave the room. I didn’t leave the area until nighttime. They set me up in a lounge in the corner of the restaurant and took care of me, letting me rest until the late transfer they arranged.

The ocean view is amazing, and the staff are super helpful, kind, and always ready to assist. But the rooms don’t match the pictures; there were stains on the walls and overall they didn’t feel as clean as we expected for the price we paid.

“A little gem in the centre of Koh Tao”

This cute beachfront hotel sits in a fantastic central spot, and the rooms were spotless with a shower that had amazing water pressure. Breakfast was delicious, and every dish we sampled from their extensive menu was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only drawback was that it can be a little noisy for light sleepers, but as a family of four we slept through it without any trouble.

There’s no view, but the service is available and charming; the downside was the lack of a varied breakfast, forcing us to pick a dish from the restaurant menu, and both the toilets and shower were cramped.
