We had read the reviews and were a bit skeptical, but once we arrived everything was clean and there were no noises or any of the issues we’d read about, so we were comfortable. There’s always someone at reception, which is a condition we look for on our trips. The hotel is old, and when we asked for a big bed we ended up with two single beds.

The hotel was very clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. However, you can hear a lot from guests in other rooms; it felt like the person next door was showering right in my room. The pillows were very low, the towels had black stains, and the shower pressure was so strong it flooded the bathroom. During the day it was very hot because the sun was beating down.

The price was good. The building shows signs that it did its job long ago and now needs major adaptation; everything is quite worn out, from the pool to the bathroom tap.
