Very friendly and helpful staff, but my room still had carpet and the bed frame was worn out and in need of renovation. The bathroom feels claustrophobic. I don’t like it when the bread for breakfast is sliced and placed on the table.

Breakfast was very good and filling, location is ideal. The room layout and décor are magnificent. The rooms are very large.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is central, parking is right in front of the building, the rooms are clean and traditionally furnished, and breakfast was tasty. The beds were far too soft for us, it was a bit pricey but that’s normal for Switzerland, and there were extra charges for eggs in the morning.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner. When we arrived in our room, exhausted after a motorcycle ride, it was freezing cold. Breakfast was missing the mandatory bircher muesli; instead a basket offered two slices of bread and a little “gipferli” per person. If you wanted eggs for breakfast, you had to pay extra.
