The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed fresh and comfortable, the bathroom a great traditional Korean bathroom that was also very tidy. Plus it’s right next to Jeonju station. Don’t hesitate to book here; it was perfect.

Mr and Mrs Kim run a lovely hostel. They are welcoming and generous. Mr Kim is always happy to help out and to have a chat, he was really very helpful and kind. Mr Kim even carried out big backpacks upstairs for us! We stayed in a room with two windows- but it was really quiet both inside and from outside. The whole place is very clean and comfortable. There is a small shared kitchen upstairs which has everything you need to cook dinner or prepare lunch, however there are also many restaurants and convenience stores around. You can also request breakfast, which was lovely as you got to have a chat to Mr Kim while you ate. The accommodation is easily accessible by public transport and if you want to go a bit further taxis are not too expensive. It is a great little location. We would definitely stay again.

I’m not surprised it has a 9.5 on Booking. The manager is a sweetheart, helped us buy the train ticket, was super pleasant, surprised us with a Western breakfast that was very quick, let us leave our bags in the room until the train left, and if I return to Jeonju I’ll definitely stay here again because of the manager’s charm. Thanks with all the affection from two Spaniards who are very grateful, and a hug for the cook who I guess is his wife. What a pair of efficient people, thank you!

The location is great, just 250 metres from the railway station and the bus stop (no. 119 route bus) to the Hanok Village. The room has a small fridge, a small table and chair (more comfortable than the bed), and an ensuite bathroom. The owner carried my suitcase up the stairs. There’s a small common room area on the top floor. The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on; it felt like reinforced concrete. The mattress was hard and I could feel every piece of reinforcement in it.

Great value for money, the manager did my laundry for free and changed the bath towels every day throughout my stay, I highly recommend this hotel.
