You have to conquer a narrow mountain road to get up, but then you get a beautiful, quiet retreat! It has been open for 2 years and also hosts meditation retreats!

What a wonderful place! We stayed for a layover and were thrilled. The hotel radiates warmth: human and interior architecture. Mark is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. Rooms are beautifully furnished and clean. Dinner food was exceptionally tasty (still standing out after three weeks of Italy). If we come back to the area: stay only at Locanda del Viandante. We only stayed one night.

“Highlight des Tages”

Wir sind dort gestrandet… morgens am Comer See gestartet, mit Motorschaden liegen geblieben, einen ganzen Tag mit Verhandlungen mit dem Automobilclub verbracht und dann mussten wir spontan übernachten … doch! Mit dem Einchecken nahm der völlig verkorkste Tag eine 180 Grad Wendung. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und aufgenommen, es gab das kulinarische Highlight des Urlaubs - zu später Stunde noch vegane hausgemachte Gnocchi mit frischen Steinpilzen - in heimeliger gastfreundlicher Atmosphäre. Wir werden wiederkommen, dann ganz gezielt ins Locanda del Viandante Osco gehen, denn das Hotel liegt landschaftlich in einer sehr schönen Region
