“Godne polecenia lokum z parkingiem i niesamowicie gościnnym gospodarzem”
Silvana House is an apartment on the seventh floor of a gated, secure complex, featuring a bedroom with a bathroom and balcony, and a private free parking spot right next to the entrance where we kept our car the whole time because driving in Naples feels like an extreme sport. The rooms are very clean and freshly renovated, with new tiles and a shower cabin in the bathroom, a small fridge and kettle in the room, and effective air‑conditioning. From the balcony you can actually see Vesuvius. The host, Don Giuseppe, is pleasant and very caring; he explained everything carefully with Google Translate and was actively in touch on arrival, even driving us to the gate to show us how to enter the complex. The location feels safe for Naples, close to the Materdei metro station and the excellent Starita pizzeria that offers superb pizza and craft beer. On the downside, you need to have small change because on days other than Sunday you must insert 10 eurocents per elevator ride (both up and down). Also, the apartment could use better bedside reading lamps and two glasses, since the kettle is there but plastic cups for hot drinks are not practical.
