The George Inn, located on Windsor's High Street, offers stunning views of Windsor Castle and the River Thames. This 300-year-old inn features a restaurant, bar, and gastro-pub dining with a Sunday roast menu. Rooms boast pleasant décor, wooden furnishings, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and tea-making facilities. Close to Legoland Windsor and within walking distance of two railway stations, connecting to central London in under an hour.

The staff were friendly. I liked the property.

The manager on duty was excellent, with big smiles. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was fine, in a gentle manner. The hanging baskets in the garden, and around the town, were incredible!

The location was super convenient, with easy access to both Eton and Windsor. The Riverside train station, the river, and the castle were all nearby. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The room was very cramped.

The staff were very friendly, the location was perfect, and the view from the room was excellent. I thought the room booking included breakfast, but the sign outside says breakfast with lunch and dinner. The lack of air conditioning was an issue, and a drunken patron made a lot of noise on Friday until after 2 am. Otherwise, it was very nice.

As always, the staff were super friendly and helpful! We were able to leave our bags safely at the desk and tour Windsor a few hours before checking in, and the pub is always great fun with great food.
