Kasa Gold Coast Inn Traverse City

“Cleaning staff was extremely friendly! This was the cleanest room throughout that Ive stayed in during the 2 months i ha”

The room was large, the towels were full-sized, and the place was exceptionally clean, but each time someone opened or closed their door, a harsh echo bounced through the hallway and into the rooms.

“It was not for us. But others may enjoy that kind of place.”

The room was nice, spacious, and clean, with a couch to sit on, yet there was no coffee machine in the room and the lobby machine was broken; no one seemed to know how to descale it. Arriving, I hit a locked door with no instructions and had to call for a code, which required several attempts on the keypad—others had the same trouble—and there was no staff present except the cleaning ladies who came in the morning.

The price was reasonable and the view was nice, but the floors were filthy, I got locked in my room three times, the bed was too soft and caused back pain, the TV was odd, it wasn’t beachfront (no public access within a reasonable walk), there were flying bugs in the common areas, spiderwebs on the porch and stairs, parking was poor, there were no outdoor spaces that felt set up for enjoyment, it was right on a very busy road, it was sometimes hard to leave the lot in the morning, sidewalks didn’t start until further down, and there was no spa or wellness center.

I didn’t stay because it was very dirty, so that’s the only thing worth noting.

“Poteva andare meglio”

The room was in a quiet spot because it faced the back of the property, while the front side looked out onto a busy, noisy street even at night. The check‑in process was unnecessarily complicated, even though the room was paid for in advance. It’s designed only for people with American phones; if you have a foreign phone enabled for use in the USA, you can’t call the 1800 help lines and every call for clarification becomes an intercontinental, paid call. There’s no staff on site, so any issue requires you to make those phone calls again. In the bathroom it would be good to add shelves for your products.
