“짐을 다 옮긴 뒤에야 에어컨 고장을 알려준 숙소”
Well… I arrived in Paris with four suitcases, and the host came down personally to show me the room and gave me plenty of time to talk before moving my luggage. Still, the host never mentioned that the air‑conditioner was broken, only talking about breakfast the next morning and other things. After I moved all my bags into the room, the host finally told me the AC was broken. Paris was sweltering, and I had booked because I needed an AC, so I was shocked and upset that the host didn’t inform me until after I’d moved everything. I had called the host 2–3 times before check‑in, and there was no mention of the AC failure, and even after arriving, the host could have told me before I moved my luggage. I was so disconcerted that I decided to leave the place and find another accommodation, requesting a refund. Initially, the host said they would deduct €30 as a cleaning fee, even though I had not stayed or used the room, which seemed unreasonable. I tried to avoid unnecessary conflict and accepted it, but later the host, after consulting with his husband, suddenly raised the deduction to €90. When I protested, the host, who had been speaking English, claimed they couldn’t speak English and avoided the conversation. I had no choice but to leave, having paid €290 and only received €200 back. The AC, a core condition of my booking, was not provided properly, and the host only informed me after I had moved all my luggage, which I find very unfair. Reducing the refund amount for a stay I never used is also hard to accept. I had high expectations for this highly rated place, but it left a very bad memory of Paris.
