The owners were very accommodating. The stairs were a bit difficult to climb up and down.

The staff were helpful, flexible, courteous, and well-prepared. The view from the terrace of the room with the round bed dominated the entire gulf. The included breakfast offered a good selection. The furnishings were chosen with taste.

Breakfast was okay—nothing too high‑standard, but definitely good. We had nothing to complain about.

The setting was stunning and the Juliette balcony offered amazing views. The gardens and terrace were lovely to sit on. Breakfast was great and the host was helpful. The 3‑bedroom was very clean, comfortable, and had an excellent spotless large bathroom. Air‑conditioning was a bonus. We walked to town in 10–15 minutes, which was beautiful, and Camogli is very special and pretty with a clean pebble beach. There were lovely restaurants with outdoor seating. We would return to this beautiful town. We booked the more expensive B&B because it had parking and we had a lot of luggage after a wedding trip. Although we were told to reverse into the driveway and park next to the railings, that was impossible for a right‑hand drive car, so we couldn’t get out. The steep camber/ridges at the drive entrance scraped the bottom of our car/exhaust. The day manager said we couldn’t get back to town going up the road because it was too narrow, so we tried to turn back the way we came. In theory you could do a multi‑point turn but not in a BMW 5 Series estate. It was a total disaster with the drive angle and camber, lack of tyre traction on hot slippery surfaces, and the car’s low profile. A helpful local explained that you could exit by driving up the road and there are turning places further up! We eventually did that but only after getting stuck and needing serious pushing to change the car angle. If we’d known that beforehand we wouldn’t have scraped the car. If you have a low‑profile, right‑hand drive car you can’t climb out without opening the driver’s door, or long cars shouldn’t try it. We told the host about this. I also noted that the room description says tea and coffee facilities are in the room and I really missed not having that! Wi‑Fi was in the common area but didn’t reach our upstairs room. Overall we loved Camogli.
