We booked a Deluxe double with lake views, but room 101 was wide yet had no view and was a bit noisy because it’s behind the reception; after speaking to the manager we moved to a second‑floor Suite that offered great views and a balcony, and the staff kept us comfortable throughout; breakfast was very good. If you’re coming by tuk‑tuk, the parking sign is misleading—you actually park at the hotel gate—but the hotel sits right at the lake’s edge, so you can walk or hop on a local tuk‑tuk in just 5 minutes to reach the city center.

The location is ideal for the lake in Kandy and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and even though I stayed only one night it was a very comfortable experience.

The spot is great, with a lovely balcony view, tasty breakfast, very comfortable beds, hot showers with good pressure, and it’s easy to walk around the lake from there.

Everything was pleasing—especially the warm welcome with a beautiful ritual and tasty welcome juice; our two rooms were impeccably clean, well‑maintained, and well equipped; the service was excellent and the entire team incredibly friendly and attentive; we also loved the location: Kandy Lake is right outside the door and you can stroll along the lake, and local restaurants and small shops are within walking distance.
