The staff were very lovely and helpful. The room was very clean, the bathroom was nice, and everything in the room worked. The breakfast was a bit basic, and I could hear thudding music late at night.

“Pretty good overall -relaxing and quiet - not many guests. Wouldn’t stay there again at that price.”

Good value breakfast, spacious room, good staff service, friendly, insect‑free room. Limited tea/coffee and toilet paper and cup supplies in the room initially. Limited English‑speaking staff. Expensive compared to NZ and what you get. Inflexible with late checkout—50% day rate for 3 hours. Shade cloth over the pool area was not sun‑proof, which I found out the hard way.

“A really nice and quiet place to stay near the city centre!”

Very friendly staff, a nice pool, a big spacious room with A/C, hot water, and clean (no bedbugs!). A nice bar with relatively cheaper drinks compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Very close to the city centre—10‑minute stroll along the sea wall. There is a taxi stand right in front of the hotel, which costs around 4‑5 tala to get you into town. I had to ask for the makeup of my room. Breakfast is standard, at most—no proper coffee (only ready‑mix sachets which are quite sweet). Mattresses need to be changed.

“Disappointed with booking”

The spot is great, but I was surprised to learn the hotel forbids outside liquor in rooms—a rule that wasn't mentioned at check‑in or in the booking details. On the flip side, several parties spilled into the early mornings with loud music, so it seemed some guests could break the rule while others were told not to.
