The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the main sights, and a lovely promenade is nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness is perfect. We had a cozy room with a small balcony and a comfortable mattress. The nearby restaurant serves tasty breakfasts, and bottled water is offered unlimited. The hotel is tired and could use some renovation, and there is no iron in the rooms.

It’s close to metro stations and in a modern tourist area of Istanbul. The room is small but very bright.

“Excellent location, great value for money and wonderful staff”

I had a wonderful stay at Perla Gelata Hotel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Galata Tower and about 700 metres from the tram station, making it very convenient to explore Istanbul. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and always willing to help. Special thanks to the receptionist, who promptly fixed an issue with the bathroom hairdryer and also helped me arrange an early morning taxi for my flight to Tbilisi. Excellent value for money and highly recommended, especially for solo travellers! I would happily stay here again.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room stayed clean every day. We received free water bottles daily. The location is great and safe, close to taxis, food, and a grocery store. I would stay here again.
