We had a wonderful time at Youshan Courtyard Guesthouse. The property is situated in the West Lake area, surrounded by quiet mountains and trees, creating a very peaceful setting. Getting to the main nearby attractions is easy, and taxis are readily available. The in‑house popular café, DOMO Coffee, is a must‑visit for guests. The whole guesthouse feels relaxed and comfortable, and I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Hangzhou.
After my business trip, I decided to stay in Hangzhou for one more night and accidentally chose this villa. It sits on the quieter hillside of West Lake, giving a peaceful morning. The room was cozy and spacious, and I really enjoyed it. Don’t miss grabbing a cup of coffee at DOMO. Such a nice place—I’ll be back soon.
The hotel staff and chefs are the best. We ran into trouble with WeChat payments, but the hotel patiently and understandingly helped us, and without their assistance we wouldn’t have known what to do. The associated café delivered daily little desserts and sweets to the room, and nearby there are friendly people with great restaurants and rental e‑bikes. It’s an absolute must for a ride around the lake and through the city! Many thanks for the help and the great time.

The bathroom is small but well‑equipped. No breakfast or bathtub, but excellent value. We’d happily return! Highly recommend.
