Hotel Mountain Paradise offers an outdoor pool, spa centre, and garden terraces. Free WiFi and buffet breakfast are provided. Spacious suites feature air conditioning, safety boxes, and volcano-view balconies. Two restaurants, a bar, laundry, and ironing services are available. The hotel is close to Volcán Arenal Hot Springs, a rafting site, and Limon International Airport, 2.7 km away, with golf cart transportation.

The breakfast was a very generous buffet, the room was fantastic, and the beds were extremely comfortable, but the restaurant food was pricey—tasty but expensive.

Because of renovations we received an upgrade to a huge room with its own pool; the hotel is currently renovating (08/2026) and next season will likely have even better rooms. Breakfast was good and plentiful, offering typical Costa Rican choices, though unfortunately it was barely seasoned.

Construction was happening throughout the property, the room lights didn’t work, the safe was inoperable, and after requesting three family massages at the front desk we received no response during our five‑day stay.

Everything was amazing; we were upgraded and had a private pool overlooking the volcano. The staff were extremely friendly, and it’s a great place that’s well worth it. The remodels in other villas are visible but nothing serious, and there were no annoying noises—overall it wasn’t a huge deal for me.
