The location and scenery were great, with easy access to many tourist spots, a peaceful setting full of birds and wildlife, and the host was excellent and very helpful with recommendations for both Kruger and nearby attractions. No complaints.

The hotel's natural charm made up for the lack of modern amenities. The rooms were cozy, but unfortunately, there was no TV to speak of. Parking was also a bit of a hassle, but the staff were friendly and willing to help. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite a few minor drawbacks.

We were really impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff, but our stay was marred by a lingering smell of dust and grass in the rooms. It was a bit off-putting, but the friendly service and comfortable beds made up for it. We just wish they'd sort out the ventilation system to get rid of that musty smell.
