The staff, along with the innkeepers, are extremely friendly, very cordial and welcoming. The food is genuinely excellent and tasty, and the dining terrace is a real gem that many appreciate: the view of the surrounding panorama is a great excuse to wake up early in the morning! On the downside, some maintenance issues in the apartments could use attention, but nothing that can't be handled. I recommend stopping by a shopping centre down in the village for groceries before heading up to the inn.

The tranquility of the area, the kindness of the owners (Giovanni and his wife), and the good food they offer are all highlights. The pool is very nice. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a few days of serene peace.

We had expected La Laconda to be an AirBnB, but to our delight it turned out to be an auberge with a restaurant attached. The room was spartan, but adequate and clean. The bathroom was small, and the shower needs maintenance: it sprays over the floor. The owner says there is no internet or wifi in the area – essential in 2025 – even though iPhone/iPad settings indicate that there is. The restaurant served good homemade food and wine at reasonable cost. No wifi.
