We couldn’t enjoy the place at all. The owner was difficult to reach and hard to get answers from.
The mattress and pillows were decent, and the sheets looked clean. The welcome was warm. The toilet, a sanibroyeur stuck behind a shower tray, is installed in the bedroom, has no door, and is normally accessible to occupants of other rooms. Luckily we were only two. The photos don’t match the actual location. To reach the apartment you have to climb two flights of stairs with a wooden ladder. We didn’t use the shower because the shower curtain was too questionable.

There was no breakfast, so I hurried to leave as soon as possible. The reception and the place were almost unhygienic, which is unacceptable for a property listed by BOOKING; for example, a 20 cm × 30 cm sink without a mirror above a rotten shower, and a staircase in dim light.

Nothing could make me happier. The fact that it’s a bed‑and‑breakfast meant we only had access to the ground floor, while the rest of the house was occupied by the host, and this wasn’t made clear.

The bathrooms are not up to rental standards: there is a toilet without a door in a room, forcing other guests to leave the room; standing in the toilet is prohibited; the shower is cramped, splashes water everywhere, and the curtain is poorly fitted; the shower has no door and is in a room, leaving no space to undress or store clothes; lighting is a major issue everywhere, with missing or faulty lights and no bedside lamp in any room; all three rooms are aligned so that the toilet is shared, with no independent rooms.
