The spot is great—quiet nights and a solid location. The building feels a bit old and could use a refresh, but it’s still cozy enough.

The host was the sweetest—helped with recommendations, set up a half‑day trip, and the balcony was lovely. The beds were a tad too soft for my taste, though.

Lilly went above and beyond—within 20 minutes of arrival I was already scooting around the area. She arranged climbing, tea plantation tours, and even sent my lost sunglasses after I left. The hotel’s spot near Yangshuo’s center is spot‑on and the rooms are comfy.

Show up on a whim, and the owner had my whole stay sorted—taught me to ride a scooter, pointed me to river swims, and it turned out to be the highlight of my China trip. The room was clean, the location great for solo travelers, and I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you need help planning.
