Prakash, the host, was extremely kind and helpful, even waking up extra early for my early‑morning trip to make sure I had breakfast, and he was flexible with my arrival time, checking in each evening to see if I needed anything; as a western woman traveling alone, I felt safe and protected. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the room had a kettle with tea and coffee, plus another kettle, a toaster, and a fridge in the common living room. The location is great, within walking distance of the Ganges, Ram Juhla, and Janaki Juhla, and the main road from which rickshaws can be taken to nearby spots. I absolutely recommend it and will stay there again on my next visit to Rishikesh.

“Highly Recommend - such a great place to stay.”

The setting is very quiet yet within walking distance of all the activity. The room featured a large, comfortable bed, a pristine bathroom, and all the amenities you could wish for, plus extras. Prakash, the host and manager, is outstanding—always present when needed and discreet otherwise. He whips up a superb breakfast and gives precise, helpful advice on where to go and when. No negatives.

The man was friendly and extremely helpful, going out of his way to ensure a smooth transfer to my next destination. Breakfast was excellent. The air conditioner, however, was very noisy.

Everything was fantastic, and administrator Mr. Prakash was very friendly and supportive. The location is ideal—outside Rishikesh’s noisy center yet closer than Tapovan, where traffic jams are constant. This small hotel sits in a restricted-access neighborhood, so it’s very calm, clean, and restful, perched on a hill. It’s only a 10‑minute walk to Ram Jhula and a 15‑minute walk to the central market area of Rishikesh. The hill can be a bit tough to climb in the evening if you’re tired, especially if you plan to walk home. But most tuktuks and taxis know how to reach this area.
