I really enjoyed the property: two big balconies with stunning views of Tagaytay and Taal Lake, perfect for sunrise coffee or sunset beers—though the wind can chill, so a hoodie would help. The beds were firm and comfortable, the furnishings were good, and the kitchen had everything needed to heat or cook meals. Bath towels and complimentary bath products were a nice touch, and the Wi‑Fi was consistently fast. We rented a parking space right by the elevator. The swimming pool and playground at Serin West Tagaytay were well maintained and ideal for families. It’s conveniently located near Tagaytay attractions, Ayala Malls Serin, and Our Lady of Lourdes church. The caretaker, Fe, was very helpful, moving our luggage from car to room and back. A few issues kept me from a higher score: the Korean blinds in the bedrooms were too thin and let in a lot of light on sunny mornings—problematic for light sleepers who need blackout curtains. Many blinds were also torn and couldn’t be pulled back to open the windows. In the ensuite, water leaked from the shower door onto the bathroom floor. The common bathroom light flickered during our stay. We also had to use the bed covers as blankets because there were no separate flat sheets.
