The breakfast was excellent, the place was beautiful, quiet, had a fairy‑tale atmosphere, and was very clean.

The breakfast was great, the people were nice, and the view over the Wicklows at breakfast was brilliant. The location is quite remote and the road itself feels like an adventure. :) After good hikes in the Wicklows, you should head into The Hollywood In in the evenings. Besides good food, you can learn a lot about Irish history there. We had a great night with PAD. The bar across the street, Tutty’s, is worth a visit too. There was great live music in the evenings. We stayed for two days and every night had great conversations with the locals.

The secluded beautiful Abhainn Ri Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our last night in Ireland. The working farm is rich in history, we enjoyed the animals and the walk to the lake, and it was a convenient driving distance to Dublin airport.
