I booked a short stay in Nuuk and the place was pretty solid. The location was super central, and the room was spacious enough, though a wardrobe or a few shelves would have been nice. I didn’t really use the storage, but the shared kitchen and dining area were decent and everything else worked well. The only hiccup was the coffee machine—it didn’t work, but that didn’t bother me much. The house was a bit noisy, and an extra bathroom would have been welcome, though it didn’t ruin the visit.

The spot was quiet and well‑situated. Unfortunately, someone stole my food from the fridge, and there was no toilet paper at all.

The house’s location is spot‑on—right across from Nuuk Center, the old harbor, and the bus stop. Everything you need is there, and the key box is super handy. The armchair in my room was incredibly comfy, and the beds were great too. The downside is that the building is extremely noisy; you can hear neighbors shifting in their beds and the toilet flushing keeps everyone awake. Kitchen fumes seep into the rooms, and the electrical setup is odd. For instance, the light switch for my room was in the kitchen! I always had to open the curtains because the house sits on a pedestrian zone and you can see straight in. At night, the room stays bright because the outdoor light with motion sensor keeps turning on and off, letting in a lot of glare. The curtains block sight but not light. The building used to be a dentist’s office, so the lighting feels very clinical. The price is good, but if I had less considerate housemates, it would have been a disaster.

The house is clean and lovely, and I enjoyed the views of the town, the sea, and even the northern lights. Everything was comfortable, and the location is great—just in front of the shopping mall. The cleaning fee was a bit steep, and the bedroom door handle needs fixing.
