The dome was stunning and everything we needed was there. The only hiccup was that it sat between two RVs – they were empty while we were there, but it would have helped to know that beforehand. Privacy matters to us, so that was a bit of a let‑down.

We soaked up gorgeous water and watched the sunset over a campfire – that part was perfect. The dome itself had a strong plastic smell, gaps let bugs in, and the advertised ensuite bathroom was missing. The nearby bathroom building had no toilet paper or paper towels, the shower door was clear and un‑locked, and the park folks were loud, whipping weeds at 8 a.m.

The location was great, right in the middle of everything. The only downside was that there was a bit of darkness outside the camp at night – a little more light would have helped.
