“Peaceful and relaxing but within spitting distance of bars and restaurants :)”
The place really delivered on value, thanks to Patrick and Tracey at Woodview Bed & Breakfast. The mountain backdrop was peaceful and secluded yet close to Kilkeel, Rostrevor and Newcastle. They were incredibly welcoming, repeatedly going above and beyond—arranging dinner reservations at a nearby hotel (which turned out amazing) and offering a free shuttle bus to and from there. We enjoyed a few drinks before dinner in their upstairs viewing area overlooking the County Down countryside. Highlights included a lovely comfortable bed and bedding, an excellent bathroom with strong water pressure, an 11 out of 10 breakfast selection, and an overall feeling of welcome and ease from two hosts who are clearly passionate about what they do. I can't recommend them highly enough.
