The peace and the breakfast buffet are great, but it’s a bit far from the centre even though they offer shuttle buses.

The staff’s excellent service is a highlight, but the room is poorly lit.

The staff were fantastic, especially Erica who had so many talents and boundless energy. The gardens and views were gorgeous, and I was lucky to get a free upgrade to a suite when I arrived. The food selection was great, and I especially enjoyed the themed dinner nights. We used the free daytime shuttle to the front to get a feel for the area. Still, the evening entertainment felt a bit narrow for the mix of ages—just an organist and saxophonist. Also, as a travel agency, we’d appreciate clearer tour info; I wasn’t directed to the Teide cable car tour site, and the staff there deemed my walking shoes unsuitable, cancelling my prepaid ticket without a refund.
