“A weekend 2 Night stay at the Wilton in Weymouth”

My wife and I went to Weymouth on 2/10/26 by train, arrived around 12.30 and told Sarah, the proprietor, we’d be there then; she said the access code would be sent for 11.00. We got in at 13.00, the twin‑bedroom we asked for was small but clean and comfy, with Wi‑Fi, a small TV, microwave, ironing board, iron, tea and coffee, all well equipped; it was yards from the sea front, main town, buses and rail station, and had a small fan and heater if needed. We stayed two nights and only used it for sleeping and the ensuite bathroom, which worked great for us. Sarah was friendly when we checked out. The room was on the ground floor, not the top. We’d definitely stay at The Wilton again for a short weekend; they even had umbrellas by the stairs in case of bad weather. The only minor issues were the small TV and an empty shower gel dispenser.

“Excellent location, everything you need including the comfy bed!”

The location was perfect for the beach, pavilion and town, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, except my own. The fridge in the room made noise, so I turned it off (problem solved!).

I’ve stayed at Wilton Guest House twice now, and the second visit was driven by how clean the rooms are and the handy amenities like a fridge, microwave, and tea‑ and coffee‑making facilities, plus the warm hospitality from the housekeeper and the owner. The staff are very friendly and approachable, and the place is quiet and comfortable—perfect for anyone who wants a peaceful spot near the beach, shops, and bars. Nothing to complain about.
