The 5-star Negroponte Resort Eretria is situated on 11,000m² grounds next to the sea, 3km from historic Eretria. Luxuriously decorated rooms feature satellite TV, balcony, and minibar. The resort boasts a pool, indoor pool with hydromassage jets, fitness room, basketball court, tennis court, and children's pool. A Greek restaurant with sea view veranda and lobby bar with open fire complete the amenities, near ancient ruins and 50km from Athens.

A modern, large hotel with plenty of amenities; we didn’t enjoy the sea because of the weather, but the beach is well maintained with clear water, and the staff are very helpful, polite, and pleasant.

The beach was a step from the pool, the cleanliness and buffet options were great, and the relaxed vibe was perfect for early September, but we didn’t like the orange juice at all and feel a natural juice should be offered at a ***** resort, plus the nightly package includes only food, no soft drink or a glass of wine. Despite that, the buffet area is wonderful with many choices.

The hotel was clean, comfy, and roomy, the gym was decent, and the sea view was amazing.

The hotel was fun, the beach was lovely, and the air‑conditioner and the staff were excellent.
