“Un séjour tout simplement magique ou nous avons apprécié chaque moment!”
The room was spacious, well‑located, and well‑equipped with very comfortable bedding. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and of high quality (homemade), which was truly appreciated. Anne is an outstanding host, pleasant and caring, with great knowledge of the area; her recommendations for places to visit and activities in the Bay of Somme were a real bonus. Excellent value for money; I highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect!
“Une superbe parenthèse, fabuleuse découverte!”
The welcome, availability, listening, and kindness of Anne‑France, her breakfasts, and her personalized advice for exploring the Bay of Somme tailored to each person’s desires were all outstanding. Nothing to add.
“La mer à vos pieds”
L'emplacement est idéal et bien que donnant directement sur la rue, nous n'avons pas été gènés par le bruit fenêtres fermées. On est juste en face de la gare du petit train vapeur de la baie, très proche de la rue commerçante. Le WC fait penser à Harry Potter. On est sous l'escalier. Mais l'hôtesse aime la littérature. Le mur en face de vous a de quoi vous occuper
“Super!”
We had a fantastic three‑night stay; the location is great, the beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is excellent! Anne is warm and attentive, and meeting her was a real pleasure. The region is full of surprises, and we’ll happily return to the Port House. Thank you!
“Een fijne B&B op een prachtige ligging”
The spot is gorgeous, with a lovely view of the river and lighthouse, and a little train with a station right outside your room if you book a street‑side room. The room itself is nice and pleasant, though the bathroom is small but functional. The toilet is separate in the room and lacks a ventilation system. Anne, the front‑desk lady, is super friendly and serves a well‑prepared breakfast: tasty fruit, cereals, fresh fruit juice, good coffee, nice cheeses, yogurt, preserves… You can park very cheaply in front of the door with a code, if space is available. You’re allowed to put limited food in the fridge or freezer from the front desk. The heat wave hit us while we were there, and the room was really hot. The small fan offered a bit of relief, but a larger fan would have been much appreciated. Fresh bread at breakfast would have been nice. On the second day we received leftover bread from the previous day, a bit stale. Bikes can’t be stored inside; we left them in the car parked right outside the door. Don’t expect to park in front of the door on weekends; it’s possible during the week.
