Unfortunately, the cabin falls short in terms of cleanliness, with issues like dirty curtains, bathroom doors, and a lack of protection from candle wax.

This 19th-century hunting lodge in the heart of the Carpathian forest is a real gem. It's spacious enough to accommodate a big family or group of friends, and it's perfect for nature lovers. However, there are a few drawbacks – like the lack of hot water on cloudy days, which means the solar panels aren't working. And be warned, the access road is more like a hiking trail than a road, so you'll need a mountain bike to get here.

The location was perfect, but unfortunately, the tranquility was disrupted by the noise. The scenery was beautiful, but it was a shame that the breakfast wasn't available as advertised on the booking site. The accommodation was a few kilometers away from a necessary shop, and the roads were quite difficult to navigate.

I recently had the chance to stay in this unique, old-world house, and it was like stepping back in time. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private entrance and a modern bathroom, which was a nice touch.

“Dezamăgitor”

The location of this property is stunning, but that's where the positives end. The dirt road leading up to it is a nightmare, and you'll need a 4x4 to make it – especially in winter. When we arrived, we were told that the candles in the photos were just for decoration, but in reality, the property relies on tiny light bulbs that can't even light up the whole room. The bathrooms are pitch black, and the only light comes from candles.
