The hotel was very clean and the staff treated everyone with respect, but the view left me wanting, so I scored it 8.0/10.

The hotel sits close to the town centre and the highway. We ran into a lot of problems with our room: no bath towels on the first night or the next morning, and we were told they were still in the dryer, so we had to ask repeatedly. The TV in the main room didn’t work. The room had a cigarette smell and cigarette butts on the balcony even though we booked a non‑smoking room. Fingernails were visible on the bathroom floor. The shower dispenser had no body wash. The glass shower door nearly fell off the track onto my husband; he had to tighten it himself. The manager who checked me in was rude; he didn’t even apologise and walked away to chat with other guests before finishing my check‑in. The Starbucks staff in the morning were slow and seemed indifferent, so we only ordered coffee and waited forever. We eventually asked for a refund, but were told we couldn’t get one because the credit‑card machine was down; we had to wait until that night to be refunded. I wanted to speak to someone about the problems at checkout, but when I waited at the desk with other guests, no staff came to assist us. I eventually gave up and left.
