The resort sits right on the beach and feels very local. Scuba shops are a short walk down the beach, and Dauin is a small town with several good eating spots. The only downside was occasional music from other resorts that caused noise.
The location is good and the breakfasts on the beach are nice, but only on weekdays; weekends are very crowded. Pets are allowed, and the housekeeping after dog guests is awful – the smell lingers. In our case, maggots crawled out from under a suitcase on the floor after four days of stay. Terrible, horrible!
“Acceptable value for a short stay”
The spot is generally well‑situated, but you might want a quieter place further south on the beach because the area is always crowded, especially on weekends. Most dive shops are within a short walk. The room had a shower and toilet, which isn’t common everywhere. The price is good for a short stay in Dauin. Noise isolation is poor; you can hear people and staff walking past at night and early morning. The staff are unfriendly and inattentive, making you ask for basics like cutlery. The food is subpar: a tiny bangus almost half the size of other places and a poorly cooked lechon. I never used the restaurant again. The internet runs on Starlink, so expect many hiccups, not ideal for work.
A straightforward but pleasant place right on the sea; the food was very good and the staff were very friendly. The building is extremely sound‑proof, and the bar/restaurant closes early, before 9 pm.
