“Erfüllt leider nicht die Erwartungen”

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön. Essen ist frisch und lecker, aber etwas teuer. Die Hotelanlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Liegen am Pool haben teils abgebrochen Beine, die Polster sind rissig und alle (!) sind voll mit Vogelkot. Wir haben uns daher nicht direkt an den Pool liegen können. Im Pool schwimmen auf der Oberfläche lauter tote Insekten. Wir sind da eigentlich nicht so zimperlich, aber das war doch wirklich ekelig. Im Zimmer hatte unsere Bettwäsche Flecken. Wir haben dann nach neuer Bettwäsche gefragt und die Bezüge zum selbst wechseln in die Hand bekommen. Tagsüber funktioniert auf Grund der schlechten Stromversorgung die Klimaanlage nicht, dafür hat man einen Deckenventillator. Ab 18 oder 19 Uhr wird ein Generator angemacht. Das Hotel ist insgesamt okay - bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel für den Preis (und den Bildern) erwartet man einfach mehr

The location is great, close to Tayrona, with large rooms, a nice pool, and a big park. The staff were disastrous, only somewhat friendly—probably because of a language barrier—and they didn’t speak English, which was a shock when we arrived at 20 H30 without prior notice, even though the hotel had arranged a taxi for us (that part worked fine). We found the doors closed when we got there and had to ring for a while before a lady opened them, clearly surprised or annoyed to see us and still not speaking a word of English. The welcome was cold. Although the hotel is listed as 5‑star on booking, it doesn’t live up to that; it’s more like a lodge or “refugio” as they say on their site. It has a beautiful pool, a nice park, and spacious rooms, but the upkeep is minimal and the staff are almost nonexistent. The value for money is poor, and prices should be lowered further in the off‑season.

“מלון נחמד ונעים מאוד במיקום נהדר!”

The hotel sits in a great spot by a calm, clean river and is close to Tayrona, and the staff are friendly. When we arrived the gate was stuck and nobody opened it, so we felt a bit abandoned. The pool was a little dirty at first, but the staff cleaned it up quickly when we mentioned it. Overall the service was solid, even though the garden looks a bit neglected.
