“Wonderful!!”
The place was incredible—beautiful farm, close enough to the city yet deep in Laos’s countryside. Sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Food was surprisingly good for such a remote spot. My room was super comfy, and the evening breeze plus a fan kept me cool without AC. Walking nearby was lovely, and local farmers were friendly and helpful when we crossed their fields. The only hiccup was unreliable electricity in the room, but we could charge phones in the main building. The real snag was when the water pump failed right as we started a shower—just a minor annoyance in an otherwise gorgeous rural setting.
“Lieu magique et hors du temps”
An exceptional place with gorgeous scenery; you really feel at ease among the rice fields. The owner greeted us warmly and was incredibly kind. The suite was very spacious and comfortable. Kuang Si waterfalls are reachable on foot after about a 1 hour walk. In short, a huge crush on this spot, and there was absolutely nothing negative to mention.
A pretty little bungalow amid the rice paddies, with frogs as a natural soundtrack. The rustic charm of the place was a bit too much for me.
“Immersed in beauty and serenity know”
Idyllic. Surrounded 360 degrees by rice terraces and the hills beyond, and the property's very cute bungalows. I did nothing but take in the view for ages. My room was spacious (i may have been upgraded). Not only tea and coffee, sweet and savoury snacks were available all day. The view from the restaurant area was gorgeous and the food was great - they catered to my vegan needs really well. The host and his wife were absolutely lovely and he drove me to Kuang Si after I checked out. You can walk to Kuang Si from here, but it was too wet and muddy when I stayed. I'll definitely be back to do that walk! Toiletries were packaged sustainably. The light switches were in rather quirky positions
“Cadre magnifique”
The surroundings were beautiful, the farm around, and the open‑air restaurant with garden produce. The only downside was a missing comfortable chair.
