Robyn's Motel

“We will return if we need a quick and easy stay in Peterborough.”

There was no breakfast offered, and the driveway to the main road could use better lighting.

“Just what we needed; comfy bed for 8 hours. Great pillows.”

The only downside was the coffee.

We stayed one night and received a clean bathroom and comfortable beds, exactly what we needed.

“I plan to stay here again, a perfect halfway stop on my trips to visit family in Ottawa.”

The hotel sits right along the highway, close to the next exit, which was convenient when leaving; the room was exceptionally clean, came with free Wi‑Fi, coffee, and a power strip beside the bed, and was very comfy in every way. I didn’t dislike anything.

“Une halte entre deux destinations: un motel qui représente bien ce qu'est un motel... 😁”

We stayed one night, just passing through the area between two destinations. The place was clean, the beds comfortable. The bathroom, though small, was very functional and tidy. For a one‑night stop I recommend it. Even though it’s near a busy road where traffic moves fast, the place is well insulated and the glass blocks out the noise (which isn’t very dense at night). A plus for us was being able to open the bathroom window, which let us avoid the loud AC that was very effective. The sheets and the two double beds were comfortable and clean. The overall furniture style and the need to refresh the paint were a bit of a downside. The plastic side table with the metal chair holding the microwave should be replaced with proper furniture. Wi‑Fi had some issues, and the coffee maker didn’t work. Luckily we had our own small camping stove and coffee maker for morning coffee. I also would have liked more hooks in the bathroom and the room, a simple fix.
