The location is beautiful with a view of 'Lake De Smet', the hotel is very quiet and has everything you need, and it’s a 10‑minute drive from Buffalo. No one is at the front desk; you have to call for someone to come, and the restaurant was closed.

The place was quiet, open, and peaceful, and it had everything we needed: a restaurant, a little shop, space for the dogs, and a comfy bed for the night :)

People were nice, but it wasn’t a resort, had no amenities, no breakfast, was run down and overpriced.

We stayed in one of the camping cabins, there was no running water but the bathroom was a short walk away, and there is a bar and a restaurant with cheap drinks and decent food, which we liked; I'd stay again. Check‑in was a bit difficult but they took care of us, no complaints.
