We enjoyed a lovely stay at the small, elegant hotel; the ambience was very appealing, breakfast was truly great, and the staff were very friendly. We took day trips from there to Königstein Fortress and the Bastei, and the area is very picturesque.

The food, especially the dinner, was outstanding. The only small issue was the morning coffee, which was only offered by a single front‑desk employee; as a guest I should not have to justify why I want a Café Crema instead of filter coffee.

Great central location in the Saxon Switzerland. The kitchen was excellent and breakfast very generous. We booked a full board, and every day was another gastronomic surprise, a work of art to enjoy.
