The spot was good and the space clean, and the rooftop terrace turned out to be surprisingly roomy with clear check‑in instructions. We had to pay extra before receiving the check‑in instructions because we arrived after 10 pm, which wasn’t clearly stated beforehand, and I don’t understand why.

I liked the location, right in the heart of Bari’s old town. The hosts were very responsive on WhatsApp, and we didn’t have to meet anyone in person. The second‑floor room was fairly large with storage. Breakfast was taken at a café on a small nearby square: hot drinks and croissants, which was nice. The stairs were extremely steep, requiring good fitness, and there was another set of stairs to reach the terrace. The water compressor made noise. We stayed 7 days, but there was no cleaning and no towel changes; if needed, you must pay 20 € for towels and 27 € for sheets. Late‑night arrivals after 10 pm also cost 20 €: why, when no one is there to greet you?
