“Umgebung sehr schön”

Overall we liked the house and the entire holiday park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. After the bed collapsed, the caretaker came right away to fix it. The chairs were totally worn out. The bed collapsed right away. The French bed on the gallery, in such a small niche, made it a challenge to get in. Unfortunately there isn’t even a café on the “Strandpromenade”; there is simply nothing. The mini‑market is really tiny and has almost no selection. The ferry to Waren (Müritz) leaves earliest at 12:11‑13:55, but the last bus back leaves at 15:33. It’s a shame for someone like me (with a walker) who relies on it.

Seenah was quiet, clean, and dog‑friendly, but the beds and mattresses left something to be desired.

There are “Premium‑location” and standard accommodations, from which you can see other units, but maybe not necessarily the Müritz. The houses are generously sized and can accommodate up to 6 people (plus 2 if you sleep on the couch and bring sleeping bags). Note that the stoves use pellet or wood, and you can buy both at the reception. The kitchen equipment is complete; I liked that the knives were actually sharp and usable, something I haven’t experienced in other parks. The only complaint might be the high cost for renting linens and towels, although you can bring your own. When self‑catering, remember that nothing is left from the previous guest, so no salt, pepper or cooking oil. Think ahead about what you want to do on site—the beach is relatively small, most time is spent hiking, renting boats or exploring the area (so you should check where you want to go beforehand). It’s a good and safe opportunity to let children or grandchildren roam free.

The holiday home was spacious and well‑equipped for four adults and a baby, featuring a fully stocked kitchen with pans, pots, oven, induction hob, and coffee machine, plus a washing machine; the view over Müritz, especially at sunset, was the highlight, and a parking spot was available right outside the door with additional free spots in Hafendorf. However, all the windows needed cleaning, which slightly marred the otherwise spotless appearance; the sauna’s bench was unstable and bent under a single adult, so we didn’t use it; the Minimart at reception stayed open until 10 pm but was very pricey; Hafendorf offers a restaurant and two bars, and other shops like Netto and Fischer are a 10‑20 minute drive away.
