It went poorly; when I was told I couldn’t be received because of problems at the accommodation, I was told to cancel myself, which I didn’t do, and the place didn’t respond as promised to get in touch. I had to call and explain the situation. At 15:00 I was informed again, and at 20:00 I got another message that they could receive me, without any prior attempt to resolve it. In the meantime I booked another place, which handled everything instantly, cancelled the booking on the system, and refunded me. It’s understandable that things can happen, but leaving someone hanging and then 5 hours later saying “you can come” was really disheartening.

The host took great care of us, the breakfast was very hearty, and he gave excellent tips on must‑see spots, sharing his culture and country with us—talking to him was a real pleasure. The only downside was that it was very hot during our stay, and even with a fan the heat was still intense.

I ended up not staying there because the village was unsanitary; I cancelled my stay. The owner was very kind, and I’m grateful.
