“I could not stay at the guest house as they made a double booking.”

I appreciate that the receptionist at C&C helped me make reservations at Crown guesthouse Waterkloof. I booked and paid on 27 Apr'24, called on 20 Aug'24 to confirm and arrange breakfast, only to learn that C&C had double‑booked me and I couldn’t stay as reserved. I was very upset, found it unprofessional that I wasn’t notified about the double booking, and only discovered it after I reached out.

“Horrible, Horrific, Diabolic , Scammed”

The humble and respectful staff member Rasheed , the room was spacious it is also modern but it has no windows it is sliding door that is not locking properly unfortunately the curtains do not have a lace you can't keep them open because of the high traffic , zero privacy , but the place looks great maybe I was just the unfortunate one to be treated badly but I have feeling the other rooms are better positioned , I had no WiFi too I asked for it but was told it not accessible for the room even though I booked for a room with WIFI. False advertising, the room i booked on the app was totally different from what i booked it was more of backroom turned into a guest room , what they claimed to offer on this app and what they offered was worlds apart , the room is between the busy kitchen and busy laundromat from my arrival the laundry machine was on , tried to get clean glasses in the kitchen there was no one to help me , there was dirty dishes no clean glasses had to wash my own glass Rasheed washed the other, in the morning the staff was loud one shouting from the laundromat to the other one in the kitchen,mind you my room is in between, then there is the constant loud calling of Rasheed that is how i got to know the name ,I had to endure this throughout my stay this loudness and the busy traffic in front of the room, I needed quietness and peace , I am a late night sleeper i need my morning sleep but sadly just before 7 there was noise , then there was the singing iyoooo! Gosh ! What did I do wrong to deserve this in my past life, it was really miserable stay, the host only offered me a better room after receiving an email from booking. Com but my complaint fell on deaf ears , she was not bordered at all , I was just another nagging guest , she could have asked her untrained staff to cut on the noise, also they must stop misleading people their offering is completely false , the cupboard in the room is empty you can't place your close, no rails , no shelves ,,just an empty shelve , the was only one towel even though it is booked for two people.there was lot of wrong things but this property can be right if they can respect the guest , the offer to be moved to a better room was too late for me I was defeated and had accepted my situation, I have been boking accommodation for years this is my first ever complaint in over 20 years , I developed good relationships with some hosts

“Terrible due to staff members”

The view and cosmetic appearance of the house and rooms are immaculate. The staff, however, is extremely rude and shows favoritism toward guests based on their background. Staff members lock you in your rooms, giving you no freedom to get fresh air.

Nothing positive. The staff lack knowledge about the B&B, there is no complimentary coffee or tea, and no shower/bath soap, gel, or shampoo. Staff members are arrogant, there is no toilet paper in the room, and the water pressure for the shower is insufficient.

“Bed slept well,nice shower Thanks”

The location was fine, close to the hospital. No towels were provided, and I would have liked a bedlamp. The room was too bright with the skylight, and the bed usually comes with a towel and a welcome soap or something, plus information about the guesthouse in the bedside drawer. Instead, the only items in the bedside drawers were packets of condoms, which was not acceptable to me.
