Casas de Ruumar B&B in Clarín offers family rooms with private bathrooms, air‑conditioning, garden views, balconies and terraces, plus minibar and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a sun terrace, year‑round outdoor pool, bar, picnic spots and barbecue area. Breakfast features continental, American, vegetarian, vegan and Asian options. Private check‑in/out, paid shuttle, free parking, bicycle storage and on‑site Wi‑Fi complete the experience.

We loved how kind the hosts were, always looking out for us. The rooms were very comfortable, and the pool was a hit, especially for our daughter. Everyone else was adorable too!

This place is a hidden treasure up north in Bohol. Even my wife’s family in nearby Clarin had never heard of it! If you want a traditional Filipino guest house, Casas de Ruumar is a must‑visit. The rooms are roomy, spotless, and cozy, all with air‑con and a floor‑standing fan. Every window has a mosquito screen, which is a thoughtful touch. The gardens are gorgeous, the pool is crystal clear and kept tidy, and the breakfast is amazing—better than any other spot in the Philippines except the five‑star hotels in the city. The owners, Rudi and Maria, are perfect hosts, always welcoming and super friendly, and they never make you feel like a bother. Their helper, Donna, is a delight, always ready with a smile to help out. We’ll definitely come back whenever we’re in Clarin, and I’d recommend it to anyone traveling around Bohol. The only downside: if you’re driving, don’t bring a big car. There’s parking inside the property, but it’s tricky with a large vehicle.

A lovely spot to stay—cozy, spotless, and run by exceptional hosts and staff. They’re very helpful, accommodating, and pleasant. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in the area! Maria cooked quality food with passion, generous portions, good presentation, and great taste 😋
