The place is right in the middle of everything – just a ten‑minute walk to the castle – and the host was genuinely friendly, with a simple breakfast that got the job done. Unfortunately, the room I got was tiny, had no air‑conditioning and the bathroom was down the hall, constantly open and shared with other guests (I even saw a stranger from the street using it).

The owner was incredibly kind, there was a handy parking spot, and we enjoyed breakfast on the sunny terrace. The downside was that the bathroom was outside the room, and the hostel itself sits on a steep incline, which made getting around a bit of a workout. Overall, a pleasant stay if you don’t mind the extra steps.

The hosts made us feel like part of the family, even stepping in when I fell ill and when our car broke down. Their little, cozy spot offers a fantastic view of the town and the breakfast they serve is genuinely tasty. It’s the kind of place you want to return to.

A truly lovely spot with an owner who went out of their way – they prepared breakfast for us and even handed us a traditional petule to take on our next trip. The warmth and personal touches made the stay feel special.

We stayed in a room equipped with air‑conditioning and all the usual amenities; the owners were attentive and eager to help, and the garage right next to the building gave us secure parking. The location in the historic district provided a superb view and the cleanliness met our expectations, so I’d recommend it. On the flip side, both breakfast and dinner were very Albanian‑style, which might not suit every palate, and the owners didn’t speak English.
