The hotel was in a great spot and a short walk from all the old parts of Quebec City. Lots of restaurants were just a few minutes away. The staff were helpful too. The 13‑square‑meter room was extremely small and there was no fridge, which surprised me. However, this was all declared at booking and I should have read the room details better.

The hotel is very well situated in Old Quebec, just a few minutes' walk from the main tourist spots and surrounded by many restaurants. The room and bathrooms are roomy, and there is an elevator. The room comes with a kettle and an electric kettle, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had hoped for a more modern room with exposed brick walls, but it seems only a few rooms are like that. The TV is standard, not smart. I chose this hotel because of its higher price and its location, since I only had one day to see Quebec. If the area of the main attractions is so concentrated and everything is close, I might have chosen a cheaper hotel outside Old Quebec, but the price made me stay here.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent. The staff went above and beyond from the front desk to the valet—five stars! The manager explained that the hotel has two sides: the older side that feels more original, and the Hotel 71 side that is more modern. We were very happy to be able to move to the modern side. The pictures didn’t really match the older side’s room; it was large but didn’t look as modern as the photos, especially the bathroom. After staying at the Nelligan in Montreal, we felt the St Pierre rooms were a bit overpriced compared to that, more like $400 a night instead of $500.

Our stay at Aubert Saint‑Pierre was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring Quebec City, our room had great character, and the staff were terrific. Thank you!

The room was very spacious, the location superb for exploring both lower and upper old towns, and the breakfast was great. Nothing to add.
