Breakfast was surprisingly delicious; it seemed small but packed flavor, and adding toast with jams made it just right and tasty. The bread was fresh and the jams matched that quality.

This old, grand hotel has winding yet short passages that make it easy to get lost. The lift worked perfectly. From the moment we entered, the staff welcomed us and explained where the restaurant, bar, lower bar, and garden were; the garden itself is beautiful. Our room was spacious with a full-size couch. On the morning of departure, the staff arranged a taxi and settled the bill promptly. Towels were incredibly fluffy, the beds unbelievably soft, and the duvets divine. The shower had excellent water pressure and the shampoo was great. Be sure to try the lobster rolls and cabbage with bacon! I wish the young man who showed us our room had turned on the towel warmer (or at least pointed it out) and that we were told how to use the heater.

The building is a beautiful old structure, tastefully decorated. The rooms and dining areas are extremely comfortable.

“My husband and I had a lovely stay in Bath. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect.”

The location is great, and the staff were outstanding from the moment we walked into reception until we left; we couldn't have asked for better service. I truly have nothing to complain about.
