The breakfast was very good at $5 US, and the staff were super friendly.

I spotted toucans, agoutis, vultures and other wildlife right outside the door, and the birds are really nice. The place is great, and if you love nature, you should definitely visit the Tirimbina reserve.

I stayed one night in the 2‑bedroom house and the surrounding grounds were fantastic: a big pool, good views, and plenty of cute animals. Hellen and Patty were super friendly, letting me check in early. Breakfast was well taken care of and delicious, and the rafting tour with Epic Adventures was a great success. The house itself was disappointing: everything was old, sometimes broken, the kitchen was poorly equipped and dusty, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. The bathroom was cleaner, and the beds were okay, but the whole place felt tired. The other cabins looked newer and better, so maybe ours is on the renovation list.
